A CVE, or common vulnerabilities and exposures, is an item in a database of known vulnerabilities that are categorized by severity level. These vulnerabilities apply to operating systems and the software that runs on them.

Tracking CVEs provides the insight needed to make decisions about when and why to patch. In large fleets, some vulnerabilities are so severe they warrant immediate patching. Our reporting system helps you identify and prioritize these critical updates.

The disaster recovery planning (DRP) tool walks you through the same steps professional cybersecurity consultants use. It helps you create a checklist-style plan to restore operations during a high-pressure event, saving your business when it's needed most.

We offer two backup types: local file backups via our desktop app and website backups for supported applications like WordPress. Both methods allow you to download a secure copy of your files from the Ops Shield dashboard.

Currently, you would still need to manually download your files from the dashboard and move them to the correct location. The backups are in standard Zip format. However, we are working on a robust solution for many types of systems to support one-click recovery. This will become an additional feature of the Titan package. The feature will not incur any additional cost. The cost of each of our plans includes free updates to those plans.

Against the advice of our lawyers, we are going to let you in on a secret. You should be storing backups in multiple locations, so we do not discourage you from putting backups on your local computer, flash drives, and your favorite cloud storage. However, securing that data is vital to ensuring you can trust that data is not compromised. This is where we come in.

We provide you the tools to get your backups into our secure ecosystem. How secure is it? Well, no human at our organization has access to your data. All data uploads are encrypted both at rest and in transit, once it leaves your computer. We are proud partners of AWS. We have gone through rigorous architecture and security reviews to ensure we are meeting the standards of today’s security landscape. As an additional safeguard, we have auditing on all data you upload. You can request and download those at any time from your DRP page. We incur all the costs associated with hosting and protecting your data.

As part of our mission to change how people approach cybersecurity consulting and software, we will make every effort to keep all prices as they are today. As new features are developed, they will be added to their appropriate tiers at no additional cost. We are even working on more free tier features. Currently, our focus is on the recovery process using our backup system. However, we have many things in flight such as security analytic integration into AWS cloud infrastructure, managed workload hosting, secure virtual machines, and integration of asset management into Salesforce and similar platforms.
